How Does Tap N Grow Work?
Tap N Grow works by combining smartphone and NFC technology to create smart plant tags. Simply aim the upper back edge of your phone over the tag, hold until the tag shows on your screen, then tap the pop-up.
What is NFC?
NFC (Near Field Communication) chips are small devices programmed to perform tasks when scanned by a smartphone, such as opening a website or providing information.
Tap N Grow tags let you index your plant database and access information on the go.
The "NFC Tools" app is free to use for adding weblinks and performing basic tasks. It also offers a one-time fee of $4.99 for saving plain text directly onto the tag instead of linking to a website.
