Maurandya barclayana “Mexican Viper or Angels Trumpet”
Very free flowering with purple flowers on thin climbing vines. Great for planting under open growing shrubs. Very quick from seeds so can be grown as an annual which will flower all summer and autumn until the first frosts. Assumed to be a perennial in frost-free areas, regrowing from its slightly tuberous roots.
Seedlings can be sown over winter for transplanting out after the
last frost.
