Medium red pumpkin
This medium red pumpkin is a mystery variety that we found growing from self sown seed. It turned into a decent sized , beautiful red colour with a lovely sweet flavour. It was perfect for roasting and mashing, and I’m thrilled I saved the seeds but regret not taking photos now! I’ll make sure to get lots of photos next season.
Germination
Easy to sow, simply plant in spring where you wish them to grow , water in and pick off any early flowers and branching vines, to redirect the energy into growing.
