A fruit orchard in a pot! Fruits prolifically, and is very tasty in salads or jams. The fruit is the same size and shape as a small blueberry and is produced over a long period starting in November. Small flowers in a tight upright inflorescence. Native to mountain forests in Southern Mexico where it can grow to 4 m under ideal conditions. Plants grow very well in 15L tubs and will flower and produce fruit for six months of the year.
Germination
The seeds are very small and need to be surface sown among small sized gravel. Germination is usually within two weeks and do not require extra heat. Seedlings need semi-shade for their first three months. 50 seeds/packet
